Fluoride post
1. Why do some people disapprove of adding fluoride to drinking water?
Some people disapprove of doing so because they do not think that adding chemicals to our water is a good thing to do. They think that our water would be better for us if left alone.
2. What would your position be on adding fluoride to drinking water and why?
I do not know all the effects of fluoride on our body but I believe that it is good and helping our teeth is a very important.
3. What technological advances in toothpaste had to be made before fluoride could be widely used in toothpaste and mouthwashes?
People had already figured out how to make fluoride good for your teeth but they had not figured out how to make it adhesive.
4. What side effects of using fluoride in drinking water are of most concern to you? Why?
Fluoride has been proven to cause premature aging which has less effects because of how they make the fluoride compound, but that would worry me most.
